After only one week, I met again Giusi. She came in London to get a plane, but we had the chance to went to Kew Gardens. It was a nice way to use a day, going to a place which is not exactly in the centre of London (bacause it is in zone 4). The park was nice, althought most of the flowers were not blossomed. It was also expensive (12£) but, anyway… who cares?
Today I went with Giusi to Victoria Station. Then I made a quick walk and I met the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, which I haven’t ever seen before.Yearly Archives: 2008
Weekend in Bristol
I spent the last weekend in Bristol. It was a nice way to meet Giusi, chat, have a look around and shoot photos. 🙂
We also had the opportunity to have a small bicycle trip in the old railway path that connect Bristol to Bath. Almost 30km (20 miles) which left me a little tired. 🙂
Ivy
Italian Carnival @ London
Today I went to a placed called “Little Italy”. Nothing to share with the one in NY, but the italian presence in that place is very strong, as you can see from my photos. 🙂
It was a religious event (in fact you can also see many photos of the procession), but with many “bancarelli” (I don’t understand why not “bancarelle“) full of typical italian flavours and dishes (like the tagliatelle I got). And the weather was also not so bad. 🙂
A new day is coming! :)
Today I’ve learnt an important thing: don’t bring with you your iPod if you want to learn a new language. Ok, it sounds stupid, but it’s not. Listening constantly a new language is very important to learn and understand. 😉
Today I went to Hanwell. The meaning of this trip is actually top secret, although I left in the photo gallery a big evidence! 🙂 I’ll give you further update about that really soon… I hope so!
In the afternoon I went to Hyde Park and I shot a lot of photos. I went to an area of the park where I’ve never been before, so it was a surprise for me.
Mi ferma uno e mi fa: “sei italiano?”
